Sherpa Outdoors is looking for a marketing guru with a passion for the outdoors. It will initially be a part-time roll and possibly become full time down the track. The new role will involve managing and improving our digital marketing, including socials, emails, creating graphics and more. As part of a small team you will have direct contact with the owner, partake in major strategic and management decisions and play a significant role in the future of Sherpa Outdoors.

Some of your tasks will involve ...

Social Media/Digital Marketing tasks

Preparing & publishing social media posts (Facebook & Instagram).
Creating regular emails re products, promotions, etc. to our mailing list via Mail Chimp
Creating and managing marketing campaigns, including product launches, competitions & sales
Updating graphics on our website and Facebook banners
Liaising with our external digital marketing (PPC on Google & FB ads) agency re provision of graphics for paid ads

Desirable Experience & Attributes:

Active outdoors enthusiast (bushwalker, hiker, camper, rock climber, trail runner etc)
Marketing experience or currently studying marketing
Social media guru
Experience with Mail Chimp
Experience with Canva
Experience with Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Good writing skills
eCommerce experience (Ideally with Neto)
Retail experience
Good computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
